"When I saw Joanne paint the peacock at the North Georgia Revival during worship and praise the Lord told me it was mine. I was even dressed in emerald green and had on gold earrings shaped like the eyes in the feathers. Although there were multiple women asking about the painting, I was the one that the original belonged to! I hung it up that night. The next day the Lord told me to look at it again...."go deep, Christine." As I looked deeper more revelation was given to me. It speaks healing, restoration and prosperity to me. "In mid-October I was feeling like my world was falling apart. It was. I went to Facebook hoping to find a little hope. As I was looking, I saw a piece of art with a girl flying a kite in a field of flowers. I knew I was supposed to call Joanne before she sold it to someone else. In that art I see myself trying to put all my hurt and pain on the kite so God could help me face my future alone. My husband of 60 years had to be placed in a memory care facility. I sold my car, my home, and moved into a 3 room apartment. I look at my kite everyday. God is still working on my pain and hurt."

I have known Joanne since high school. I knew she was talented back then, so imagine my surprise when I found her thru someone sharing her work on facebook years later. She had painted someone's pet. With my son's birthday coming up and his love for his two special dogs, one alive and one passed, I sent her pictures of both and she did a beautiful job capturing those special pets. Well, since then, I've bought a chicken she painted and commissioned two other pictures for gifts. And, I hope to hang many more of her paintings. My husband and I bought a beautiful butterfly painting from Joanne’s website. I love this painting! It is so simple but is so warm and comforting. I’ve known Joanne for years but had no idea she had this talent. I had to have more so for Father’s Day I commissioned Joanne to do a portrait of me. I was nervous but Joanne led me through the process and together we came up with an idea for a pose and background that captured the essence of who we are as a couple. Joanne went to work and created a beautiful piece of art. To say my husband was surprised and pleased is an understatement. We both love the portrait!

I saw some of Joanne's paintings on Facebook and was very impressed with the details of her paintings. A few months ago I attended a Memorial Service for a young lady and out of the crowd a lady came forth and spoke about her own life story. The more I listened, the more I realized, that's Joanne!! I spoke to her that day and mentioned that my Dad has mules, asked if she could paint them, and of course she got all excited. I took her pictures of the mules and explained a little bit about their differences (they're almost identical) and within a few days she built the wooden canvas, worked her God given artistry talent, and I have a beautiful painting to give my Dad for Christmas!!
